Is there a way to get my corn snake more active?

The snake is going to do what makes him comfortable. You cant stop him from burying himself or hiding in his house (unless you take the house out of the cage but that's mean). If hes happy, let him be. And when he outgrows the house he has you have to get him a new one. The happier the snake is it will less likely bite you when you take him out.
