Orion intelliscope?

I think the 12" intelli would be a great scope if you don't mind the bulkiness. I use to have the 8" model and it worked great. The quality of these scopes and all the scopes that I have owned from Orion are excellent. The Goto works great so long as your a level ground. How well you pierce the heavens all depends upon your observing location. With a 12" you'll need to be as far away from city lights as possible to really enjoy this light bucket. I'll say go for it if you don't mind its size. Good luck
