How do i get these birds to leave us alone?

There are 2 mockingbirds that chase my cat, swoop down on her and peck her, They make this loud-god-awful sound all the time. It wakes me and my neighbors up. I f the cat sits in the window they fly close and make tons of noise. i have always been a bird lover but these are driving me crazy.

I need an Italian dinner menu help!?

For thanksgiving, I am doing something that is highly unorthodox, I am making Rustic Italia Bread from scratch, Herb Scented Tuscan Pork Loin, risotto milanese, and for dessert I need a hazelnut cream cata, along with that will be espresso, and sweet marsala wine, and with the dinner, i don't know what wine to serve, and also an italian dinner must have a starch, a vegetable, a meat, a salad, and then it is usually fruit and cheese afterwords but I'm doing dessert instead. all i need is a vegetable that goes with pork, and i want it to be an italian dish, thank you

Im now having a rant!?

I am sooooo right there with you! I am 38 weeks pregnant today and want to have this baby now. I have been getting my "practcie" contractions that come and go every 20 minutes or so and vary in intensity. I have also been having hip pain and what feels like side stitches in the middle of the night. My midwife ured me that if I were in labor ther contractions would come stronger by the hour. Also, she suggested taking a warm bath or moving around to see if the pain would decrease, if it did chances are your not in labor. She said when labor starts you feel it in your lower abdomen, contractions usually getting stronger, and closer. However, this is my 1st baby so everything I feel makes me wonder, "Is labor starting?!?!" I wish you luck, and hope baby comes soon!

My 6 month olds upper respiratory infection... still vomiting?

The rule of thumb with infant/child vommitting is to not give anything to "eat" (formula) until they have not thrown up for 12 hours or more. I would give the electrolyte water in SMALL doses, teaspoon at a time, until she holds down the liquid. Formula has milk it it, which upsets stomachs easily when sick. I would also make sure you suck her nose out with a bulb syringe, this will keep the snot from going down the back of her throat-which may be causing the cough and the throwing up. Rub her chest with a small amount of warmed olive oil, a firm mage on her chest and back will stimulate the immune system and make her feel better. Also, keep a vaporizer in her room when she's sleeping so the air is nice and moist to break up any mucous. Sometimes it helps if they can sleep in an upright sleep position, perhaps keep her in a carseat or prop her on a pillow. This will ease her breathing.
