How do you make a 55g aquarium ready for tropical fish since i have had only goldfish in the tank for 2 months

this is a new aquarium that i was starting and all the levels of ammonia, ph, nitrate, nitrite have finally balanced out. i have had only gold fish in it and now i want to put some tropical fish in the tank do i have to change anything or can i just put them in. of course i am taking the goldfish out.
