Car accidents in Barbados?

I was reading the news about the accident in six roads where people was standing at the bus stop and was injured,the driver of one of the vehicle jump out and ran ,police found out that the the suzuki van was uninsured.I think that the government is not doing enough to crack down on illegal drivers in Barbados,these so call university gradu-es that think they no all just cant seem to get the job done,it is very simple to curb the pratice of uninsured cars on the road.Instead of every body driving around with a white piece of paper in their cars winsheild,the road tax department and insurance should give out different colours every year,for e.g for 2010 every body should be driving with a red sticker in their windsheild,2011 a green and it goes on like that, in Sweden every year you have a different coulour sticker on your license plate so if the police or any body see a colour fron the year before they know right away you are illegal and can report you right away.But proper police investigation can reveal the culprits,police can find out the previous owners of the vehicle and who it was last sold to unless it was stolen.
